Amanda Michaels Studio is a female-led independent film production company located in Los Angeles, California.

Our team has a collective six decades of experience in theater and filmmaking - on both sides of the stage/camera.

What we’ve learned through those experiences, not only on set, but throughout the creative journey, is that how a project is brought to life matters as much as the final product.

As such, we are committed to bringing work to the screen in a way that is as humane as it is efficient, as balanced as it is creative.

We find ourselves especially drawn to projects that have the power to remind us of our shared humanity and that encourage us to live life authentically.

Producer Aubrey Mozino

Aubrey Mozino is an actor, filmmaker and the President of We Make Movies, a community-meets-production-company built on the idea of “let’s make the movie YOU want to see.”

After 25 years in front of the camera, Aubrey realized the rules had changed: creatives are now expected to be writers, producers, marketers—and somehow still artists.

Through WMM, Aubrey has helped bring over 2,000 short films, a dozen features, and a ridiculous number of web series, commercials, and sketches to life, including the award-winning short film Leading Man.

She’s served on the SAG-AFTRA local board, sits on multiple union committees including the AI Task Force, and created a free smartphone filmmaking curriculum called Smartphone Studio to prove to prove you don’t need permission—or a massive budget—to tell a great story.
